MARISSA & DANIEL

Marissa and Daniel’s wedding day at Cathedral of the Pines was one that carried so much meaning from the very beginning. With both of them serving, it was especially important to be married in a place that honors that kind of sacrifice—not just their own, but so many others. It made the entire day feel even more intentional and grounded.

We started the morning like most wedding days, capturing those getting ready moments, but everything felt calm and full of anticipation. One of the most special parts of the day was their first look—it wasn’t overly private or staged, but more shared and full of energy. Marissa gifted Daniel a watch that was engraved, which made the moment even more meaningful before they officially stepped into the day together.

As the ceremony began, everything shifted. When Marissa walked in, Daniel couldn’t hold back his tears—it was one of those moments that just hits, seeing it all become real. Even through the emotion, they shared smiles and little laughs, which made it feel so true to them.

After the ceremony, we moved into cocktail hour and took some time for their sunset session. It gave them a chance to slow down, be together, and just take it all in for a moment. The night continued with dances, speeches, and a fun round of the shoe game that had

everyone laughing. And once the dance floor opened, it stayed full. Marissa and Daniel fully showed up—bringing so much energy and just having the best time with their people. Marissa even changed into a custom jacket with her new last name, which was such a fun and personal touch to end the night.

It was a day that held both meaning and celebration so naturally—honoring where they’ve been, and stepping fully into what’s ahead together.
