I don’t believe photography is just about getting the perfect shot or the right lighting — although I do love that part. At its core, this work is about connection. It’s about serving people exactly as they are, in whatever season they’re in, and creating space for them to feel seen, known, and gently celebrated.

I often find myself spending just as much time listening as I do photographing. And I don’t mind — actually, I love it. Whether someone’s opening up about not feeling beautiful in months, or a couple is showing up to their session unsure where they even stand, I treat these moments as sacred. Sometimes all it takes is one photo to remind someone of who they used to be — or help them see a version of themselves they never knew was possible.

That’s what keeps me coming back to this work: the chance to serve. Photography is my way of doing that. It lets me walk alongside people in real life — not just posed moments, but the messy, beautiful in-betweens. It also fills something deep in me — the desire to create, to express, to make something lasting and meaningful.

I started this journey a few years ago with a Facebook Marketplace camera and a desire I couldn’t shake — the kind that tugs at your spirit until you follow it. At the time, I didn’t know what it would turn into. I just knew I wanted to capture the way life felt, not just how it looked. That simple yes — photographing friends, families, and moments that mattered — slowly turned into something much bigger than I imagined.

Since then, this little business has grown in step with me. It’s evolved as I have — through seasons of transition, deepening faith, and learning how to show up for people with both artistry and empathy. I’ve photographed weddings, last minuet hospital maternity sessions, quiet mornings at home, and stories that still stick with me years later. And through it all, my heart has stayed the same: to be a calm, steady presence behind the camera. To remind people that they matter.
